The Advertising Club Bombay along with The Times Group, the official representative of Cannes in India, is offering an opportunity to undergraduate & postgraduate students this summer to earn the prestigious Cannes Lions Academy Diploma.
Applicants along with their Identity Cards and zerox copies of the first & last two pages of their passport can register. Possession of a valid passport is an essential requirement. Non Passport holders need not apply. You can register at the Ad Club’s Office address – 504, Radhe Vallabh Society, French Bridge Corner, Opera House, Mumbai – 400004 before Friday, 7th May, 2010 between 10.30 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. The registration fee is Rs.200/-.
A written test will be held on Tuesday, 11th May, 2010. It will be followed by another exercise of making of a theme based ad. The test will be conducted at The Times of India Office, Times Tower, Kamla Mills Compound, 6th Floor, Lower Parel, Mumbai 400013. The answer paper and creative will be judged by a panel of top ad professionals.
Names of the Short listed candidates will be put up on our website www.adclubbombay.com. These selected candidates will be required to participate in a Group discussion and appear for an interview on Friday, 14th May, 2010.
The winner will be declared post the Interviews on Saturday, 15th May, 2010, itself.
The Advertising Club Bombay, will sponsor the winner who gets an all expenses paid seven day trip to the Cannes Advertising Festival plus the Cannes Lions BA Scholarship involving one week of training starting from 20th June, 2010 to 26th June, 2010.
The eligibility criterion as defined by Cannes is, students must:
1) Study advertising, communications, or marketing with a view to working in the advertising industry or Design industry
2) Be fluent in speaking and understanding English
3) Be 18-23 years of age (born on or after 20th June,1987)
