Afaqs: Chief revenue officer, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL), Joy Chakraborthy has been handed duties to take care of Zee Café and Zee Studio. Chakraborthy has been handling niche channels at the organization that includes Zing, ETC Muzic and Zee Trendz.
As per sources, the step was taken as Sujoy Kutty business head, Zee Café and Zee Studio has been moved to ZEEL’s flagship channel Zee Tv. Due to his absence, the responsibility of these two channels was handed to Anurag Bedi, business head, who is currently in charge of three other niche channels of ZEEL, including Zing, ETC Muzic and Zee Trendz. Bedi will report to Chakraborthy, who will now head ZEEL’s cluster of five niche channels.
