Mediacom to take charge of HRIPL range of products

Afaqs:The range of HRIPL (Hygienic Research Institute) products will now be handled by Mediacom. HRIPL has over 20 products with the brand names Streax and Vasmol. The brand includes shampoos, hair colours, shaving cream, hair oils, decorative cosmetics and skin care products.

Mediacom bagged this account after following a multi agency pitch. The account size is about 20 crore. Ashish Chhabra executive director, HRIPL says, “The Company wanted to give a fresh perspective to all the brands, which is why the pitch was called.”

Mediacom general manager Ashwini Kamat says, “Strategic business inputs and innovative use of media are the reasons, we believe, that got HRIPL to entrust their brands to Mediacom. They showed confidence in our creative work, as well as our strategies for the products. We have started working on the plan for HRIPL’s brands and would be actively operating from April 2010.”

Hygienic Research Institute was established in 1957 and has vast experience of working cosmetic industry.
