W+K wins Budweiser account

Exchange4Media: Following a multi-agency pitch, Wieden+Kennedy (W+K) Delhi have won the brand business for Budweiser. AB-Inbev India has also engaged W+K Delhi to strategise for Stella Artois and Tennents brands.

Mohit Jayal, Managing Director, Wieden+Kennedy Delhi, commented on the win saying, “One of the great pleasures in life is to work on a business that is also your hobby, which is why everybody at W+K Delhi is very pleased at the prospect of working on Budweiser. Hopefully, we can help push some of the boundaries of conventional beer marketing. We’ll certainly try.”

Wieden+Kennedy seem to be on a roll this year having already bagged the Park Hotel business for overall brand development. It also launched two new properties (The Park, Hyderabad and Apsara cruiser and The Park on Vembanad Lake) earlier this year.
