Crayons is banking on digital biz & OOH in 2010

Crayons Advertising considers 2009 to be one of its best years and is being very optimistic about 2010 as well.

Ranjan Bargotra, President, Crayons Advertising, said, “Things are looking up for most of the clients/ industries. A healthy organic growth should be back next year. We expect our digital business and OOH to add sizeable contribution to our revenues. Healthcare (Fortis) and hospitality (ITC Fortune) are expected to grow exponentially. As regards new business, the hunt will always be on.”

He also mentioned that in 2009, the agency won the prestigious Congress party account. “And yes, it was huge spends as well. Then we won IREO, the biggest corporate/ real estate account this year. And finally, Incredible India’s print campaign for the European/ global markets to close the year on a positive note. There were other smaller yet significant gains as well, which made the year 2009 extremely special,” Bargotra added.

According to Bargotra, “The OOH division couldn’t have possibly asked for a better start. We executed one of the biggest outdoor campaigns during the Lok Sabha elections for the Congress party. This was followed by another large countrywide campaign for Fortis Healthcare. We also picked up a huge assignment from BSNL, followed by the IREO campaign. In the first year, I think we have done substantial business in OOH.”
