M K Anand, who has been with the channel since its launch as Zoom’s Business Head, has put in his papers at the company. He is currently serving his notice period. It is being reported that Anand is headed to UTV Global Broadcasting as CEO.
There is no clarity on Anand’s role yet, but sources familiar with the development suggest that he would be joining UTV Global Broadcasting as CEO for all its channels.
As is known, UTV Global Broadcasting has channels such as UTV Movies, World Movies, Bindass, Bindass Movies and also the business news channel UTVi, which would soon be called Bloomberg-UTV. At present, UTV Global Broadcasting has Shantonu Aditya as its Executive Director and CEO for UTVi.
