Dilip goes to back to Rediffusion Y&R as creative head for LG

Dilip Marathe who had recently quit Percept/H as creative head has rejoined Rediffusion Y&R as creative head (art) on the LG business. He will be based out of Delhi. Prior to joining Percept/H, Marathe was with Rediffusion Y&R for a little over a decade.


Talking about his move, Marathe said, “I have worked with Rediffusion Y&R earlier for many years so this move was like homecoming for me.”

In an official communiqué, Sandeep Madan, EVP, Rediffusion Y&R, Delhi said, “It’s nice to have Dilip back. I am sure that with his wide experience and long association with Rediffusion Y&R, he will add immense value to the LG brand as well as contribute significantly to the organisation’s vision and growth.”

Marathe had joined Percept/H in August 2008. At Rediffusion Y&R, he spent around 13 years. In total, Marathe has almost two decades of experience in the advertising industry. He began his career with daCunha Communications, moving on to Grey Worldwide (then Trikaya Grey) in 1991 as senior visualiser. In 1994, he joined McCann Erickson as art director. After a year, he moved to Rediffusion Y&R as art director and then in 2001, he was appointed creative director of the agency.

Among the brands that Marathe has worked on are Maruti, Onida, Eveready, Club HP, DNA, IOCL, Airtel, Tata Motors, Colgate, LG, Fanta, STAR Plus and Zee TV.
