The Starcom MediaVest Group has promoted Ashish Limaye, deputy GM, Navia (group’s OOH arm) to the newly created post of GM, marketing. Limaye has been with Starcom MediaVest for the past four years.
In his new role, Limaye will be based in Mumbai and continue reporting to Ravi Kiran, CEO, Southeast and South Asia and CEO, specialist solutions, Asia, Starcom MediaVest Group. Limaye will be responsible for the pan-India operations of the organisation and will be required to coordinate with various regional heads of the group.
Ravi Kiran said, “The needs of marketers are evolving constantly and they are actively looking for innovative solutions that will help them achieve their near term and long term objectives in the most productive manner and specifically optimise marketing resources in these challenging times. In this new, forward-looking role, Ashish will help us identify marketers’ needs and support our leadership across four full service offices and six specialist solutions units, in activating our business and growth strategies.”
Limaye has 13 years of industry experience, having worked across media including print, internet, data based marketing communications and OOH media. He started his career in 1996 with Bennett Coleman & Co. India (Times Response Division). Later, he moved on to the out of home division of J Walter Thompson (now JWT), and subsequently, the Starcom MediaVest Group.
He has worked in different capacities ranging from a business head position driving Revenue, managing a team of cross functional talent, to generating sales at grass root levels and takes pride in them all. He specializes in communication, OOH and POS medium, client interactions and new business Initiatives.
