Dainik Bhaskar launches Weekend Bhaskar for Chandigarh

Dainik Bhaskar has launched a weekly lifestyle supplement, called Weekend Bhaskar, in the Chandigarh market. The Chandigarh edition covers Panchkula and Mohali as well.


It is a six page colour supplement distributed free along with the Saturday and Sunday editions of Dainik Bhaskar in the Chandigarh area.

The supplement will feature a mix of local news stories and soft features such as entertainment, Bollywood, fashion, shopping, personal and professional grooming and relationships. With the target audience comprising youngsters and SEC A readers, Weekend Bhaskar will focus on news that may be of interest to the youth.

Sanjeev Kotnala, VP, marketing and communication, Dainik Bhaskar, said, “The city of Chandigarh is changing fast and we found an opportunity for such a product. This new supplement will help us strengthen our presence in Chandigarh and its neighbouring cities.”

According to Kotnala, the supplement will help readers identify what’s happening in their neighbourhood and feature interesting happenings in the three cities.
