Four agencies have been appointed to handle the communications for Global Incredible India campaign account.
This accpunt has been commissioned by the Ministry of Tourism, the account size is of Rs 250 crore. An open media bid had taken place three months ago for this account.
Crayons Advertising has won the Incredible India Europe print campaign. Euro RSCG has won the TV campaign for America and the Asia Pacific print campaign. Span Communications would be handling the print campaign for America. ZenithOptimedia has been assigned the TV campaign for Europe. Senior sources close to the development have disclosed that the print and electronic campaigns would release in Europe soon.
The contract lasts for a year, after which the account would be reviewed again. The agencies that had taken part in the pitch included Mudra, Mindshare, Euro RSCG, Crayons Advertising and Ashok Creatives.
Ranjan Bargotra, President, Crayons Advertising, said while speaking about the win, “This is the second time in succession that we have won the campaign for Europe and this reinforces the Tourism Ministry’s confidence in us. The campaigns would be released in two weeks’ time.”
Crayons, Zenith Optimedia, Ashok Creatives had bagged the Rs 100-cr Global Incredible India account in 2007, while Span Communications had bagged the Rs 100-cr Incredible India domestic and international campaign account in the same year.
