Gujarat based outdoor publicity major Sujal Advertisers will foray into food product business with the launch of wafer and snacks under the Bipps brand.
Sujal Food Exports will manufacture and market the Bipps wafer in 18 flavours and 40 varieties in the snack product range.
Sujal Food Exports, aiming to position itself on a national level amongst the top brands after state market penetration, claims to have different flavour ranges targeted at children, youth and elderly. The company will invest Rs 25 crore over the next two years and plans to start export from January.
“We have started with one manufacturing facility at Gorwa GIDC, which produces 800 kg of wafers per hour and soon scale up to 3 tonnes wafer making an hour. Wafers product portfolio will have banana and potato base.” says Paresh Shah, director, Sujal Food Exports.
Sujal Shah, director, Sujal Food Exports, said, “We are banking heavily on our quality, unique packing, strong distribution network as our USP and it is going to work well. Products will start hitting the market from next week and for the exports, Sujal plans to export 12-15 tonnes products every week.”
Sujal Advertisers has been into outdoor publicity business for 22 years and the experience will come handy for the Bipps promotional campaigns, said Paresh Shah, adding that the company was expecting break-even after three years. Future expansion plans will be chalked out after two years, depending on the response.
