Partha Sinha quits Publicis as Chief Strategy Officer, Southeast Asia

Partha Sinha has put in his papers at Publicis India, where he was Chief Strategy Officer for the Southeast Asia market and was based in Mumbai. Even as his destination next is not decided yet, majority bets are on BBH India. At Publicis, Sinha was working very closely with Nakul Chopra, Chairman and CEO, Publicis Group India.

Sinha is a graduate from IIT Kharagpur and a post graduate from IIM Ahmedabad. He has a career spanning 17 years in advertising and marketing, where he has worked with the likes of Citibank in its brand management; Ogilvy India in Strategic Planning, Zee Network as Head of Marketing and Strategy, before moving to Publicis India. Some of the brands that he has been associated with include Citibank, American Express, Asian Paints, Nokia, Titan, Cadbury’s, Vicks, HP, Maggi, Aviva, Playwin and Zee.

Sources familiar with the situation have informed that the internal memo on Sinha’s resignation was sent out last week. It is believed that Sinha is toying with two offers at the moment before deciding on his next responsibility. Sources, however, informed here that in all likelihood Sinha would sign the dotted line with BBH India.
