Vipin Dhyani put on papers from Everest

Vipin Dhyani, creative director, Everest Brand Solutions, has decided to move on and pursue issues closer to his heart. Currently, he is serving his notice period at Everest.


At Everest, Dhyani handled the creative work for Parle’s brands such as Monaco, Hide ‘n’ Seek, Musst Bites and 20-20. Dhyani was busy with ad campaigns when he was given the opportunity to be a writer in Bollywood. Dhyani says, “It is a good time for writers and I didn’t want to lose the chance.”

He is already occupied with several film projects, two of which are near completion. Dhyani is also trying his hand at being a lyricist. He has written two songs for an upcoming movie.

Dhyani says that he decided to move as he had better options. However, he will not give up advertising altogether and will continue doing freelance work.

He has spent several years in the industry working with well known agencies such as Rediffusion DY&R, Mudra, Grey and Lowe. After completing a Post Graduate Diploma in Advertising and Public Relations, Dhyani joined Rediffusion DY&R.

His longest stint was at Lowe, where he worked for three years. At Mudra, he worked on the Paras Pharmaceuticals portfolio and handled brands such as Recova, Itch Guard, Krack Cream and Dermi Cool.

He won a silver and a bronze at the AAAI GoaFest 2006 for a breast cancer campaign . He also won silver Effies while he was at Lowe. He won recognition at Stockholm for a short film that he made on the environment.
