Sanjeev Shah has been joined as Director, Mergers and Acquisitions. He took charge from August 13. Prior to joining Times Group, Shah was with Kotak Mahindra Capital Company as Executive Director.
At Times Group, Shah will be responsible for strategic alliances, joint ventures and mergers and acquisitions.
He worked for Kotak Mahindra Group for over 16 years, of which he spent a large part working on investment banking assignments for various clients spread across industries. He was also part of the core team that had set up Kotak Mahindra Bank.Shah had held several posts at Kotak Mahindra, including Head of Corporate Banking (West), Head of Investment Products, and Group Relationship Management, among others.
Rohit Dabholkar joined as Head of Brand Development, Mumbai, for Maharashtra Times and Navbharat Times.He took charge from August 11, and is reporting to Ranjeet Kate, Deputy Director, Times Group. He moves from Videocon Industries, where he was Senior Manager, Marketing.
Dabholkar replaces Bhushan Khot, who had recently joined Zee News as Vice-President and Business Head for their Marathi news channel, Zee 24 Taas. Dabholkar would be handling all the duties previously handled by Khot.
Commenting on Dabholkar’s appointment, Kate said, “Dabholkar brings with him 10 years of rich experience in marketing product and brand management, which would definitely help us in working for the enhancement of the brands Maharashtra Times and Navbharat Times.”
Speaking on his new assignment, Dabholkar said, “I feel that my diverse experience of working on brands would surely help to further consolidate the leadership position of Maharashtra Times and Navbharat Times.”
Dabholkar has 10 years’ experience in product and brand management. He had earlier worked with companies like Raymond Apparel, NEB Electronics, Milton Global, and Videocon International.
