Jai Talwar is President-Advertising for Business India Publications Ltd. from July 1st. He was previously working as senior Vice President with Last Minute Media Pvt Ltd, a company promoted by Dentsu for their online media trading portal Lastminuteinventory.com.

Talwar has over 27 years’ experience in media. He has held important posts in Hindustan Times, Zee TV, Reader’s Digest and Khaleej Times, Dubai. He kick started his career with top advertising agencies like Clarion and Ulka, and has media experience with The Telegraph.
He was appointed Associate Publisher, Reader’s Digest in 2002, when he returned to India. He successfully launched their 50th anniversary edition and other media initiatives such as ‘Best of Inspiration’, ‘Best of Drama in Real Life’, etc. He also has to his credit the launch of Reader’s Digest Women’s Special and Reader’s Digest Trusted Brands Awards in May 2006 for the first ever time in India. In the past, he has served on the steering committee and on the Board of Governors of Media Research Users Council (MRUC).
